Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the relationship between you and the Makkler platform ("Makkler", the "Platform"). By registering for or using the Platform, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.

1. Description of the service

Makkler is a content-sharing platform where finance content creators ("Clubs") share their portfolios and the reasoning behind them, and members can access that content through a subscription (or free participation). Makkler is not an investment firm, brokerage, or investment advisory company.

2. Does not constitute investment advice

No content on the Platform (portfolio views, posts, messages) may be interpreted as investment advice, a signal, or a solicitation. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. For details, read the Risk Disclosure.

3. Account and membership

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide when registering is accurate and up to date.
  • You are responsible for the security of your account, including keeping your password confidential.
  • Membership in a Club may be paid or free depending on the package you choose; paid packages can be cancelled at any time.

4. Content creators (Clubs)

Authority to open a Club is granted once an application has been reviewed and approved by Makkler. Creators are responsible for the accuracy of the portfolio and rationale content they share. Makkler technically records the portfolio data a creator declares but does not guarantee its accuracy.

5. Pricing and commission

Makkler takes a flat 20% platform commission on paid memberships. This rate is transparent and fixed - no hidden extra fees apply.

6. Prohibited use

  • Using the Platform to share misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful content,
  • Accessing another member's account without authorization,
  • Copying a creator's content without their permission and sharing it elsewhere for commercial purposes,

are prohibited and may result in account suspension.

7. Limitation of liability

Makkler cannot be held liable for losses arising from investment decisions made based on content shared on the platform. The service is provided "as is."

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. You will be notified of material changes via your registered email address.
