  • Palantir is welcome to compete in the renewed procurement process.

Palantir and London’s Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime have settled their dispute over a blocked £50 million contract with the Metropolitan Police. The proposed two-year deal would have used Palantir’s AI systems to automate tasks and analyse evidence.

In a joint statement, the parties said they had resolved the case and withdrawn their allegations against each other. MOPAC said its decision was not based on Palantir’s values, ethics or wider reporting about the company.

The office said it had no policy against contracting with Palantir and welcomed the company’s participation in procurement processes. The Met has begun a fresh process for the AI technology.
