With the advent of the artificial intelligence (AI) era, optimizing power supply networks has emerged as a critical global challenge. In the United States, the surge in power demand driven by the proliferation of AI and data centers, coupled with the need to replace aging grid infrastructure, is driving large-scale investment in power infrastructure.

As the U.S. power infrastructure market grows rapidly—driven by the spread of AI data centers and the replacement of aging power grids—the localization strategy proactively pursued by Hyosung Chairman Hyun Joon Cho is now delivering results.

Under the leadership of Hyosung Chairman Hyun Joon Cho, Hyosung Heavy Industries is building a solid presence in the U.S. power market. Chairman Cho's strategic bet to designate the power infrastructure business as a future growth engine and invest proactively in the local market is being credited with driving the company's strong performance.

As global markets navigate a landscape marked by geopolitical tensions and rising inflation, Asia's economic resilience continues to capture investor attention. In this environment, companies with strong growth potential and significant insider ownership can offer unique opportunities, as they often indicate confidence from those closest to the business.

In the midst of heightened geopolitical tensions, inflation concerns, and volatile oil prices affecting global markets, investors are increasingly seeking stability and potential growth opportunities. Amidst this backdrop, companies with high insider ownership often attract attention as they may indicate a strong alignment between management and shareholder interests—an appealing trait when navigating uncertain economic conditions.

Under the strategic leadership of Hyosung Chairman Hyun-Joon Cho, Hyosung Heavy Industries has secured a record-breaking contract in the U.S. power market, marking the largest order in the company's history and underscoring its expanding role in U.S. grid modernization efforts.

The Kospi outperformed global peers in 2025, led by chips, defense, nuclear power and K-beauty stocks.

Hyosung Heavy Industries announced that it will invest $157 million in its Power transformer plant located in Memphis, Tennessee, to expand Power transformer production capacity by more than 50% by 2028.

As Asia's markets experience a resurgence, bolstered by strong performances in technology and manufacturing sectors, investors are increasingly focusing on companies with robust insider ownership. In this context, high insider ownership can signal confidence in a company's growth potential, making it an appealing factor for those looking to navigate the current economic landscape.
