Coop Pank reports weekly purchase of 9 264 own shares

The Estonian bank said it acquired the shares on Nasdaq Tallinn under a shareholder-approved program during the week ending September 27.

Coop Pank AS acquired 9 264 of its own shares on the Nasdaq Tallinn Stock Exchange between September 21 and 27, the bank said. Its notice did not state a weighted average price.

The purchases were made under a resolution passed at the company’s April 8 general meeting of shareholders, and according to conditions set by its supervisory and management boards. The bank said it will disclose acquisition summaries no later than the seventh trading day after each transaction.

Coop Pank is one of five universal banks operating in Estonia, according to the company. It said it has 239,100 clients who use everyday banking services. Its majority shareholder is domestic retail chain Coop Eesti, whose sales network includes more than 330 stores.
