Inflection Point VIII Units Set for Separate Share, Warrant Trading

The company says unit holders may split their securities beginning around October 5, while unseparated units retain their existing Nasdaq symbol.

Inflection Point Acquisition Corp. VIII said holders of its units may begin trading the Class A shares and warrants separately on or about October 5. Units that remain intact will continue trading on Nasdaq under the symbol IPHXU.

The company completed its initial public offering on August 31, selling 28,750,000 units. That total included 3,750,000 units issued after underwriters exercised their overallotment option in full.

After separation, the shares will trade under IPHX and the warrants under IPHXW. Only whole warrants will trade; no fractional warrants will be issued.

To separate units, holders must ask their brokers to contact transfer agent Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company. The company said it is seeking a business combination with a North American or European business in a disruptive growth sector, but it may pursue a combination in any industry, sector or region.
