Maison Solutions Faces Second Nasdaq Notice Over Late Reports

The retailer has until October 19 to propose a compliance plan, while its Nasdaq listing remains unaffected for now.

Maison Solutions received another Nasdaq notice tied to late regulatory filings, the company said in a September 29 announcement. Nasdaq said the retailer was not complying with a rule requiring timely reports to the SEC because its quarterly and annual filings remain overdue.

The notice, dated September 23, concerns the Form 10-Q for the quarter ended July 31, 2026. Maison Solutions also remains delinquent in filing its Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended April 30, 2026.

The notification has no immediate effect on the company’s listing. Its Class A shares continue to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol MSS.

Nasdaq has given the company until October 19 to submit a plan to regain compliance. That deadline was set after an August 20 notice about the late annual report and remains unchanged.

If Nasdaq accepts the plan, it may grant the company an exception of up to 180 calendar days from the 10-K due date, or until February 9, 2027, to file both reports. If Nasdaq rejects the plan, the company may appeal to a Nasdaq Hearings Panel.

Maison Solutions said it is working to regain compliance. Its grocery operations are in Southern California and Arizona, under the HK Good Fortune and Lee Lee International brands.
