Turkey’s 2026-30 Artificial Intelligence Action Plan aims to mobilize at least $10 billion for data-center, cloud and AI infrastructure. It also targets installed data-center capacity of at least 1 gigawatt.

Companies are expanding existing facilities and planning new ones as demand for computing and storage grows. KKB plans to complete the second phase of its Anadolu Data Center by year-end, raising its capacity from 1,000 to 3,000 cabinets.

KKB General Manager Gökhan Şahin said the facility’s installed power capacity is expected to rise from 8 MVA to 32 MVA by the end of 2026. The company said it plans further increases in later years.

Turkcell said its active data-center capacity reached 54 megawatts in the second quarter. Construction has started on new facilities with Google Cloud, with capacity to be brought online in stages according to demand.

A partnership between Rönesans Altyapı and Digital Realty is building its first facility in Ankara, with an initial phase planned to provide more than 22 megawatts of computing capacity. The site is targeted to begin operating in 2028. The partners aim to reach 200 megawatts across Ankara and Istanbul over the long term, with investment potential of up to $3 billion.
